The recession lead to the deformation of the overall economy of the world. It impacted every business as it decreased the demands of the consumers. This was due to the fact that unemployment increased extensively and organizations adapted the approach of downsizing throughout the world. The income generation of the consumers dropped gradually leading to a decrease in their spending behaviors. The demand increased substantially after the recession period ended and thus this provided companies like Apple and Samsung with the opportunity to implement various marketing strategies to maximize their profits. There are various marketing strategies used in the modern world. These include strategies like product differentiation in which the qualities in the product are differentiating from its alternates. Price skimming is low pricing strategy. Profits are earned through the sale of large volumes. High pricing is another strategy to establish a brand name and logo. Diversification is providing diversified products for different markets, etc.
