In 2008, British food retailer Tesco entered the U.S. grocery store market with Fresh & Easy. The goal of the chain is to provide fresh, nutritious food at competitive prices. Earlier this year, the company filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection, and was sold by Tesco to Yucaipa Companies, LLC. Yucaipa must engage in new tactics to broaden the chain’s customer base and bring in more revenue. Selling grass-fed beef products in stores is an option that should be strongly considered. Formed on two years of market research. Goal is to provide consumers with fresh, wholesome food at fair prices. Branded products have no artificial colors/flavors, no genetically modified organisms, and no added trans fats.
