Illusions trick the eye into viewing something with a skewed perspective. The eye makes the brain believe something that is not physically true.

Paintings, television shows, movies, and other forms of visual media are rich in illusion. 

With the invention of computer games, illusions are in great use. Programmers use illusion to force ideas on a gamer’s brain1.

Overwatch is an online computer game that shows off the use of illusion perfectly.

Characters in this game are not held to the laws of physics in order to emphasize certain movements or show off strong characteristics.

The character Pharah, for instance, looks elastic because the character’s head purposefully moves slower than the rest of the body1.
