Position: Information Security Program Specialist

Autodesk is currently looking for an Information Security Program Specialist to join their Information Security, Risk and Controls team, the team that plays a key role in moving forward Autodesk’s strategy for growth. This specialist role would support and manage the company’s information security program, making sure it is functionally effective. The ideal candidate is expected to have knowledge in information technology as well as experience in the information security program field. They also must be able to effectively partner with stakeholders during various implementation process and program upgrades.

Responsibilities include: supporting the development and implementation of Autodesk’s information security program; supporting the team in achieving desired information security capabilities; maintain system-wide information security policies and procedures and ensure that standards are consistently being met; Create and implement a training program for Autodesk’s information security system; Assist in security risk assessments and subsequent improvements; Manage Autodesk’s SharePoint site by creating, developing and editing content on the site; Create and put into place an information security services catalog and maintain the deployment and measurement of its services.

An ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in one of the following preferable areas: Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or Business Administration. Equivalent years of work experience will also be considered. The candidate must have at least 5 years of relevant experience in either the information security program management field or the information security audit or controls assurance field. The ideal candidate must be a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a candidate for CISSP, or hold an equivalent professional certification. Candidates applying for this position must have knowledge in the following: information security controls and processes, application of frameworks, and experience and knowledge in compliance requirements. Experience in writing, implementing, and measuring compliance processes, policies, standards and guidelines is required as well as the ability to oversee project management processes for information systems. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills are required and a person who is able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment is a plus.

Position: Information Assurance Engineer

QED Systems, LLC is currently looking for an Insurance Assurance Engineer (IAE) to define information system requirements and functionalities by designing, developing and implementing security designs and system architecture. The IAE will also be responsible for performing assessments on the effectiveness of current security programs against known, and unknown and projected threats. The Insurance Assurance Engineer will plan, train, install and configure solutions, create reports and briefings on the leadership of IT productivity progress. This position will also provide direct assistance to customers regarding security and functionality requirements, system architectures, and security designs.

The IAE will also be responsible for protecting computer network systems by indentifying vulnerabilities and reinforcing security against future attacks as well discovering various methods of security for global networks and specific hardware or software. Methods will include the design, development, and implementations of security solutions. The IAE will have to write, edit, review and prepare scientific and technical documents, policies and procedures.

Candidates are expected to have the following skills and requirements: Experience in various Department of Defense (DoD) DIACAP processes and procedures; Experience in Information Assurance evaluation tools; Experience in HBSS; Experience in assessing systems against DoD STIGS and formulating strategies for improvement. The candidate must be comfortable in presenting updates to various audiences and must also possess competency in understanding the SLDC process. A Bachelor of Science in a related field as well as 5 years of experience is required. Salaries are negotiable upon expertise.

Position: Senior Information Assurance/Security Specialist
